Amazing cabin and rental experience!
My wife and I regularly stay in rental properties, and this was oberall the nicest, cleanest, and well stocked property we have ever stayed at. The build and layout of the house was great, plenty of room, and lots of activities at the house. The back porch is amazing, we spent most of our time enjoying it. From fans, lightning, switches to outlets, everything is above and beyond. The amenities such as paper, soaps, small appliances coffee, and extra propane make this the number one rental on my list. With the "out of the way" location of the cabin, those little touches are amazing.

2024 Eclipse weekend
We stayed at Aquila to watch the Eclipse. It was a great place. We had no issues. The cabin was very clean and the host was very helpful. We would highly recommend staying here whenever you are in the Hochatown, Oklahoma area.

Great family getaway
We stayed with our adult kids and their kids. 1. People total. Everyone had a great time. Cabin is remote for privacy but close enough to attractions. Everyone had their own space but also the common areas were big enough for everyone to be together and not crowded. And the fire pit, hot tub and outside areas are beautiful and very well thought out.

Nice stay, accidentally off grid
Overall enjoyed the stay but I was not expecting the remote location. We were aware of the wifi but not that there was essentially zero cell service. The only major complaint our party had was that there were no curtains or blinds in the game room, making it a very bright spot to sleep.

Thanksgiving
The house was beautiful and we loved the location. The kids brought rain boots and played in the little creek. They found crawfish and caught minnows. The game table was great! It was so easy to start a game that I think we played more family games together than any other trip. I was a little worried that the bunk bed room was right off the living room (no door) and the windows looked right out to the hot tub (no curtains/blinds/etc). The kids were so tired though that it didn’t seem to matter! The bedrooms were wonderful! The only issue we had was the bathroom door (barn door) kept sliding open. I’m not sure if we were doing something wrong, but we couldn’t keep the bathroom door closed and the bedroom door didn’t seem to latch very well either. Overall, it was a great trip!

Duchess’s bday weekend
This cabin is amazing and offers all the amenities that you need for a retreat. The hot tub was great. There is a grill fire pit lots of games for the children. The bunk room is spectacular! It is surrounded by trees, which gives it the secluded feel. I will make a note that it is on a long stretch of dirt road that inclines and declines. I would not suggest driving a low profile vehicle. Definitely want to use a truck or small SUV..
