Betsy Cottage is a charming, historic home in the heart of Broadstairs, just 2 minutes from Stone Bay & Viking Bay Beach. Built in 1608 from local flint, the cottage is full of character and rich history, once home to poet and mystic A.E. Waite. Inside, you’ll find a mix of original features and modern comforts, including a luxurious roll-top bath in the master suite. The cozy basement bar adds a unique touch to this relaxing getaway. Perfect for those seeking history and comfort by the sea.
The space
You will have access to the entire home (aside from the basement). The cottage has four double bedrooms, a newly fitted integrated kitchen with granite worktops, 10 seater dining table, exposed original wooden floors and a private garden with a BBQ and outside table and chairs. Each bedroom comes with wardrobes and has Smart TVs (including Netflix), whilst the master suite also features a luxurious roll top bath and dressing table. The home has fast Fibre Optic Broadband and desk area, making it suitable to work from home too.
Settle in on the sofas for a cosy evening in front of the 400 year old working log burner or head out and explore all that Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Margate has to offer. We’re very familiar with the area and can of course provide recommendations of local restaurants and attractions.

The master suite, located on the first floor, features a luxurious roll-top bath. The second floor houses the family bathroom, complete with a shower, bath, and toilet, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay.
