Amazing Stay
We visited this property on a girls/moms getaway weekend and had an amazing time. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfy as was the couch. We enjoyed the hot tub and the amazing views! The own recommended a nearby winery to visit with excellent wine and food. Would definitely visit again!

Getaway with a View
I spent a long weekend here with a group of close friends and two fur babies. Amazing sunset views and the house had everything we needed for a relaxing trip! The couches were comfortable and we enjoyed sitting by the wood burning stove. The kitchen also was super well stocked and it was great to have a dining table large enough to seat our entire group. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back!

Amazing Find!
This place was absolutely awesome. The house itself feels cozy without feeling small or crowded. There are a lot of windows so the house gets plenty of sun which we all loved. There are so many smart details to the house, and the host has beautiful style. And of course, the view is amazing! I can't recommend this place enough! Really, such a find!

Amazing home in every aspect!
We loved our stay at this property. We were amazed at how well the home was furnished and decorated. Everything you would need was provided down to cell phone chargers. Sunsets were amazing from the deck, and the fire pit was a big hit! We hope to return to this property next time we explore Shenandoah National Park.

Beautiful home with amazing views!
What a beautiful home with absolutely gorgeous views and sunsets! This house has everything that you could possibly need to spend a very relaxing vacation. You can spend several hours each day just exploring the area and then come back to the house and relax in the hot tub just admiring the beautiful views! We’re already planning our next trip to this beautiful location!

If you’re thinking about it, do it! This house is amazing and has everything you need for your stay. The views are awesome too! Just keep in mind you’ll definitely need 4x4 if there’s snow or ice when driving up the driveway

Mountain views and peaceful property!
Really nice house...beautifully decorated and lovely views. Morning coffee on the porch was a special treat! We watched gorgeous sunsets, deer grazing below....many birds...just beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed. Linens provided. Owner was responsive and kind. Loved that we could bring our two small dogs. Highly recommend!

Wow. What a view! What a house! Will 100% be coming back.
This is the house that thought of everything and also has a stunning view. Comfortable and clean from start to finish. Easy to get to with ample space for everyone. Cozy couches, great outdoor space, comfy beds with nice sheets and towels and the pillows didn't suck! It's a nice layout, so friends and family aren't on top of each other, with multiple spaces to lounge. I liked that they also had a lot of puzzles and board games as we got some rain during our stay. They also had a nice info binder about the house and things to do in the area, which is always helpful. Well-stocked kitchen with updated everything. We are already figuring out dates to come back.

Beautiful Home! Fabulous Views!
As our last activity before ending 7 years as a Girl Scout troop we chose to rent this beautiful home. We were amazed at the decor and comfort of the house. And of course the views! We had a few questions and the owner responded quickly. The home has everything we needed to celebrate our time together as a troop. We would definitely recommend this fabulous home to family and friends!

Beautiful view, superbly equipped, excellent condition
We have spent decades vacationing in Outer Banks cottages that were quite nice, but this mountain home near Front Royal outstripped them all. A contemporary remodeling that also seemed to have an old-fashioned coziness about it. So many homes in which we have vacationed seemed to have all the basics, but just barely. This mountain home was awash with extras in the way of conveniences, furnishings, recreational amenities and more. We felt very much at home the minute we walked in. Ed Jones, Richmond Va

Amazing property! Highly recommend
The house was absolutely stunning - very clean, well decorated, comfortable and cozy, with every amenity you can imagine. The views from the porch were so beautiful and we loved watching the sunset. Service was patchy near the house (in the house the wifi was perfect) so I recommend loading up the map to make sure you know where you’re going towards the end. Host was very responsive and accommodating. We tubed the river and went to Bear Chase Brewing and loved both activities! Went into Front Royal for groceries vs the close small shop (recommend this if you need full cooking groceries) but it was an easy drive and good store. We’d come back for sure!

The perfect girls' weekend getaway!
Our group of friends recently enjoyed a fabulous girls' weekend at this charming cabin in Front Royal, and we couldn't have asked for a better retreat! The cottage ambiance provided for a private and beautiful setting, perfect for relaxing! The location was ideal for an afternoon trip to Middleburg to enjoy shopping and lunch. We also visited two wineries, both within a 15-minute drive of the home, and hiked a few miles at Sky Meadows, also a short drive away. In my opinion, the best part of the home is the view from the deck and patio. We could have sat there for hours just taking in the breathtaking valley and enjoying the peacefulness all around us. After watching the amazing sunset from the deck, we hopped into the hot tub for a bit and then sat around the solo stove to round out the evening. The four bedrooms were so well decorated and felt really comfortable - plenty of space to unwind and recharge. The kitchen had literally every gadget and appliance that you could think of or need. The living room area was also very relaxing and well-appointed. The screened-in porch was perfect for watching a brief storm come across the valley one of the afternoons. The picturesque views, incredible amenities and proximity to outdoor attractions and wineries made our trip truly special. We highly recommend this property for a memorable getaway and can't wait to return.

A great family getaway! This home was spectacular - the views and location were amazing and the home was well appointed and very clean. This property feels like a home vs. other bare bones vacation rentals. The home is furnished with high end furniture and decor from west elm, CB2 and other designer grade furniture. The beds were super comfortable and the home has two zone heating/cooling - nice feature. One night we used the wood stove (wood was provided)! So much nearby we were able to explore; antique stores, hiking at Sky Meadows and grabbed sandwiches from the Locke General Store a few miles away toward Berryville, Deleplane Cellars a local vineyard. In the evening enjoyed the huge hot tub! And inside a Shuffleboard Table - kids had a blast! The house didn't stop there; the deck is awesome (with multiple gates to contain pets and children), a screened in porch and stone patio. Dual grills - gas and charcoal. There is a view from almost every room. High speed internet and phone connectivity was great - no issues streaming or making calls. Lastly, there is a general store about a mile that has everything you would need in terms of basic supplies and food items. The host was highly responsive and helpful. By far the best short term rental we have stayed in - 5+ stars! We'll be back again!

Great views at peak fall colors
Nicely furnished and decorated mid-century modern cabin with well equipped kitchen and several great places to lounge both inside and out. Most places are 20-30min away, but recommend Three Fox Vineyard and Brewery in Delaplane, Lost Barrel Brewing in Middleburg, or waking in downtown Winchester. Plenty of places to hike or drive Skyline Dr for more great views.

Amazing House with a View
The views from this house are fantastic! It is evident that the homeowners take great pride in their home. The proof is in the details… multiple phone chargers, throw blankets, a large selection of board games, tissues, a well-appointed kitchen, and so much more! We even were treated with several fireworks shows that we could see from the deck. We are already planning a return trip with our family. You will not be disappointed with this home! Wonderful host; beautiful views!
Our family loved our brief stay here and wished we could have stayed longer - (we tried but it books fast)! The sunset views are gorgeous, the beds are so comfortable, and the host Greg is super kind and helpful. There are even great places to visit nearby. All around lovely. We will be back!
