A great surprise for us was the path, just at the end of the garden, who takes you on a beautiful trip around the mountain. There is other great trails further up the mountain (starts 10 min. away in car), with spectacular views. We used it for skiing, and tried Cervina, Valtournence, Thorgnon and Chamois. It is a 5-6 minute walk to the August Arch and the pedestrian shopping street where there are many small purveyors of local cheeses, salamis, wines, coffee bars, and restaurants.In addition there are many retail stores selling clothing, leather goods, etc.It is a 5 minuter drive to the Pila GondolaPhotos of the apartment were a little less than accurate. "Enjoyed the stay. Close proximity to Ski lifts and can hit all 4 Valles. Suggested to host to have give more notice on the deposit and have more avenues/ways to give him the deposit. He only wanted cash and I didnt have time to get cash being that I left the U.S.A. on a Sunday and he advised me of the cash deposit THAT Sunday morning. Great ski hotel with amazing amenities

"Hotel is in a great location next to the central bus station and is also walking distance to downtown Chamonix. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The hot tub, steam room, and sauna overlooking Mont Blanc was the best part of the hotel after a long day on the slopes. My only critique would be if you would like a quiet room to book a room facing the Mont Blanc side to not get noise from the bus station. Would definitely recommend and stay again! "
