"Never stayed at this property. The booking via Expedia for this French hotel was erroneous - instead of booking a hotel in Groton, Connecticut for a family wedding. Expedia was not diligent in immediately canceling the French booking when I first reported this. Already seeking remedy by reporting this situation to my bank."

"There was a calm, genteel feel to the hotel and grounds, a sense of grandeur past. The staff were helpful and polite. The grounds were lovely and we enjoyed having a leisurely breakfast in the gardens. It would have been good to have some help taking heavy bags up the stone stairs as there did not seem to be a lift/elevator."

"What a magical stay this was. If anything, our time spent here was far too short, and we most definitely would like to return and spend a longer holiday here. Sophie and Vincent have built a beautiful place, and their hospitality and charm make the experience second to none. "Great little hotel in a small mountain town. Owner does not speak a lot of English but we were able to communicate with him with no problems. He is also super nice and friendly. Room is small but not cramped...keep in mind the building is hundreds of years old!! Hotel is hard to find because you can only see the restaurant from the main street. Bets thing to do is go through the restaurant and find the owner to get directions to the parking lot for the hotel."

"Last minute booking in the near dead of winter. Unexpected wonderful surprise that it was a Chateau of sorts more than a hotel but the owners were absolutely incredibly kind, accomodating and helpful despite not speaking much English. "
