「We were responsible for all housekeeping for more than a week, but they were stingy with supplies to do our own housekeeping. I had to list what items I intended to clean (sink, toilet, light switches, etc) in order to access cleaning items. At one point, the hospitality worker directed us to Dollar General to go buy our own cleaning supplies. They didn’t even have spare sheets. We asked for clean linens and then we had to turn our sheets in so we could get them back hours later. We were there...

「Wonderful town, friendly people, good food, amazing Refuge with horses, wildlife. We just absolutely adore Chincoteague. Cottage was cozy, comfortable, good location. Dogs loved the nearby fog park. Hostess was friendly, very helpful with local events. Just a wonderful time」

「The Salty Sailor was an excellent, affordable, and pet friendly rental. Nice location on ridge rd next to Mr Baldys which is a must to try if you stay here. The rooms are a bit older but maintained well. I didn’t experience any of the conditions that were listed in the other reviews here. We would certainly stay here again.」

「Very cozy cottage tucked off the road great check-in experience place was clean easy parking will definitely go back again」

「We had a great trip. The house was in the perfect location. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the beach made for the perfect vacation.」

「The cottage is as described. There is no stove but it truly didn’t matter. Bed is very compfy. Shower is clean and hot. Quit neighborhood. The screened in porch is the best! Coffee and reading in the rockers. The cottage is close to everything !Thank you Don. We loved our stay.」

「Stayed here with a group of friends. 6 of us in total, plenty of room. Great house, great location, reasonably priced!」

「The house was nice. Neighbor quiet. It was nice there is a small park across the street for the dog. Had everything I need in the house. It was nice I did not have to bring my own sheets and towels. They were supplied to us. The beach is a short drive up the street, maybe a minute or two and there was plenty of parking. I would stay here again if I go down to ocean city again.」

「Lovely house, plenty big enough for our family of three and more. Well furnished and well equipped. A ten-minute walk from the beach. We'd be glad to stay there again our next trip to Bethany.」

「We had an amazing stay at this spot. Being on the water was such a treat, very close to everything including the park with the horses and lots of wilderness to explore. The home is very nicely decorated with local character and the communication was excellent. Highly recommend!」

「My family and I stayed at the Parrot Bay Condo for the first time this year. We had fun! My children enjoyed the bunk bed, and the cottage where we used to stay every summer did not have a pool, so having the 3-5 foot pool was another feature that enhanced our vacation this year. I wished I had a fly swatter because flies do get in the house, but we would stay here again if it’s available again next year. Recommended!」

「We spent 3 nights in 2 over-water bungalows…4 generations ages 2 to 85. The houses were well equipped and maintained. Beds were comfy, tvs were great for nighttime watching. The front porch was a great place to hang out, eat, etc. my only suggestion is maybe put a rope ‘net’ at the end of the floating piers between the houses to make them a little safer for little children. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend a visit for this unique experience.」
