"28-8-21- We left the accommodation just 2 days into our 7 day vacation. It was not secure and a health and safety risk. On arrival, we pointed out that 3 x pairs of glass sliding doors did not lock at all. Next day the owner sent an alleged “locksmith” and told us they were all fixed. Unfortunately, they were not all fixed and we complained again. The solution was to screw them all shut causing a fire escape risk. "de the walled city of Avila. Parking a short distance away outside the wall. Walkable to everything including Convent of Saint Teresa, promenade along the wall and the Camino de Santiago was just behind the building. I highly recommend this place. Door is not manned until checkin at 3 pm."

Hotel Las Moradas is Excellent

"We loved our stay at Las Moradas. The hotel beautifully appointed and is located in the heart of the old city within walking to many wonderful sites. The staff was courteous and helpful. Parking is not onsite, but there is a parking garage within close range. Avila involves walking up and down many hills and the parking is no exception.
