Was comfortable and convient. My only downfall using the swimming, spa, sauna,steam area found a lot of human hair around floors on seats. Didnt feel comfortable in these areas.

Some areas of the eating area and the room was not up to standard. I have been bitten I think because dogs are allowed in the room so I think one was in the room before me so flea bites 😩

I stayed here before and my stay was great. This time however was horrible and I won't be returning. Pros: - Restaurant staff are really friendly. Specifically the Asian guy and girl during the day and black guy on nights. - Modern room - breakfast was okay and their tabletop and lunch options were good and tasty. Cons - - Requested in my notes that I would be coming earlier at midday, and requested an earlier check-in. When I arrived they didn't have a room ready and I had to wait 3 hours. - Dirty: Too many insects in our room. Came across cockroaches, flies and spiders all over a 2 day stay. - Room was horribly located about a 15 minute walk from the front entrance and after 2 flights of stairs. - Our room key stopped working after 1 day and after getting it fixed, it appears this happens regularly. - No complimentary water unlike last time, had to keep begging staff for water. I was told it's for members only but was told I was a member last time. - Was told by the black girl at the reception I would be charged £106 even though I pre-paid already. Only told me told at check-out it's all been paid for. - Location is somewhat remote with no nearby shops. - Toilet is so cramped - you can't close the door without squeezing down the side of the toilet.

Beware! Checked in for 4 nights and paid full amount upfront, I was there on buisness but my circumstances changed so had to check out rafter 1 night and the hotel refused to refund me any money for the final 3 nights I did not stay! I was obviously not happy about this so wanted to escalate this to management but was told no management on site to deal with me. Shocking how they treat customers tbh!

New Fire drill.
All was good. However please, please sort out your emergency fire drill procedure!! I was not in danger but you really needed to have a dedicated Fire Officer who kept a record of who had evacuated and also kept guests informed of what was happening.

Good - no surprises
All as expected. The room was clean and everything worked well. Breakfast was very good with limits of choice. My only complaint is the lack of plugs by the bedside tables - maybe that will be sorted whenever the next refurbishment is due
