Settle in to this cozy cabin and its peaceful surroundings as you explore the Flathead Valley, Glacier National Park, and surrounding areas. This newly constructed one-bedroom, one bath cabin—built in June 2023—is situated on the far end of the owner’s large XX-acre field with sweeping views of the Swan Mountains out the front door. A private driveway off the owner’s drive winds you around to the cabin where you’ll enjoy incredible sunsets to the west and
sunrises to the east while literally gazing out at the vast mountain range to the north before you.
The major appeal of this lovely quaint home away from home is the peaceful atmosphere. It’s an ideal place for some respite as you slip into the Adirondack style chairs on the porch with your coffee in the morning listening to birds chirp, or in the evening with a beverage as you watch the deer graze off in the distant field.
The space
This 480-square foot cabin is ideal for one or two people. The full-sized fridge, stove, oven, and microwave let you prepare meals each day, and a full-size propane grill is on the patio for barbecuing. You’ll find all the basic utensils and kitchenware needed to cook, along with a full-size coffee maker and toaster. Enjoy your meals on the round cocktail table with two bar style chairs right in front of the large bay window overlooking the field and mountains.. A washer
and dryer is located in the hallway. There is a television in the living room with a comfortable leather couch. In the bedroom is another television, comfortable queen bed with two nightstands, lamps, and an overhead light/fan. At night, feel free to shut off the A/C, turn on the overhead fans, and open up the screened windows to let that fresh, cool Montana evening air in.
It is an oasis where you’ll feel like you’re far away from it all, but everything is just a few miles off. Downtown Big Fork is 12 minutes. Downtown Kalispell is 28 minutes, and Glacier National Park is 45 minutes. You’re in the center of all the recreational opportunities to the north, south, east, and west in Flathead County. The cute little town of Bigfork has food, art, and shopping as well as the Bigfork Playhouse if live theater is in your plans.
