3/5 - Okay
The temples are gorgeous and it's not as chaotic as Kathmandu, but not being Hindu, we didn't feel it was worth the whole trip out there. The architecture is identical to Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Our favorite location in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. Immensely walkable and local, the temples, palaces and squares of historic Bhaktapur are much more comprehensive than just the Durbar Square. Be sure to see the Taumahdi Square, Peacock Window and Pottery Squares while in Bhaktapur. And save your souvenir purchases for this City with better prices and cross-section of options than either Kathmandu or Patan.
