Play games and join sports activities with your friends and families on the large fields. Arrive in the park in spring to see the cherry blossom trees in full bloom. The area is just as picturesque in fall, when the flowers and leaves begin to change colors. Study the rows of red roses among other colorful vegetation in the landscape gardens.
The bamboo forest is an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts and joggers. Relax at one of the benches facing the plant life and read a book. Inspect the lanterns and artistic light installations that brighten up the park at night.
Beppu Park is open to the public at all times. Access the grounds for free. Find Beppu Park in the center of the city. Arrive at the Beppu railway station and walk northwest for about 10 minutes to reach the heart of the park. Consider traveling by car and leaving your vehicle in one of the many spaces along the edges of the park.
