"In the ad it said that we were getting the whole house, however we couldn't use the downstairs and it also said there was a washer that didn't happen those were the only downfalls, besides that it was awesome."

"From the booking process to leaving when we checked out, everything was top notch. The hosts arranged our transportation, which was a huge help not knowing the area. We appreciated the cleanliness, unique furnishings and setup of our particular room. The landscaping and grounds at Tropical Hideaway were lush and impeccably maintained. 5 stars!"

Martin and Julie live on site and provide all the extra touches you don't expect with a VRBO property. They even have a "store" on the property where you can get supplies rather than having to go to town to shop. We were in Palm Cottage. It has a kitchen and fabulous balcony overlooking the bay. "Steps from the water with Fabulous Views. The Cottage has very comfortable beds with AC in both bedrooms. The Kitchen is stocked with all appliances, coffee pots, microwave, cooking utensils etc.. Perfect spot for sitting outside under the covered area or on the loungers for early coffee or sundowners for sunsets. Managing staff always quick to respond if we needed anything. A little Bequia Gem and walkable to restuarants, grocery, bars, beaches and more."

"The title says it all. You don't often come by a place on VRBO where the actual place is better than the pictures, but this is one of them. The view is unreal and the host really has thought of everything for guests to get the most out of staying on Bequia. My wife and I spent a week of our honeymoon here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking at staying on the island."

"The Sugar Mill is a beautifully designed, airy and pretty unique villa high up overlooking the sea and islands to the East of Bequia. Being high up it gets a very necessary cooling breeze. Bequia had suffered a long drought while we were there, so was less green than normal, but it was still lovely. "This property is exactly as advertised, and has a great view of the Caribbean waters and some of the rest of the Grenadines. The owners of the place are also very kind, attentive, and quick to respond in case of any trouble or need for help regarding anything and everything. One thing to note is that this property can feel a little far from the main areas of Bequia found around the port. So it is good to keep in mind that a taxi may be required for use when staying at this wonderful house. "

"The apartment was very lovely quiet clean with good parking except entrance need paving can damage your car. I did not get TV-needed new batteries for TV remote. Trued all night to figure out tge toilet only to realized tgey had turn off the water valve. 3 matches in the match box for lighting the stove amble check much be done at all times to ensure all needs are met even tho their were small matters and a one night visit. I enjoyed my stay. I will stay again.Thanks "

"It is a very nice property. Unfortunately there was only one sheet and the air was very cold, so I had bad nights, and turning up the temperature was risking mosquito bites. The mosquito net is not appropriate for the size of the bed. The bed needs a good adjustment and it makes a hard sound every time you move or sit down. "Would definitely recommend. Our mini getaway was made perfect by the friendly staff and beautiful hotel. We loved the complimentary breakfast and all our meals. We are dog lovers but did not enjoy dining with the ones that came to each meal. Overall a very inviting and welcoming beach hotel. We loved our stay and look forward to our next visit. "

Fabulous Property...Listing doesn't do it justice!

"Our stay at Tropical Hideaway was amazing. We booked it after our reservation on Union Island was destroyed by Beryl and were blown away by the whole experience. Martin and Julie live on site and provide all the extra touches you don't expect with a VRBO property. They even have a "store" on the property where you can get supplies rather than having to go to town to shop. We were in Palm Cottage. It has a kitchen and fabulous balcony overlooking the bay. The views from the property are stunning in every direction. We could have just moved in. The infinity pool is spectacular and there is such a great breeze we never had to turn on the AC. We cannot say enough about the property and the hospitality. Thankfully Bequia and Tropical Hideaway were spared during hurricane Beryl. Thank you Martin and Julie, we will be back!"
