"Our stay at the garden cottage was just what we needed, it was a beautiful little holiday! Great location within Barwon heads yet staying so close to the owners house was unexpected but privacy was fine. Amenities were up to date, clean and functional apart from the towel rail in the bathroom which unfortunately continually broke when we hung our towels on it. The only downside was communication- we arrived to check-in 10 minutes after the appointed time (2pm) and the cleaners were still in the middle of cleaning the house. "My friends and I (14 total) had the pleasure of staying a week here and it was a lovely experience. There were just enough beds for us all, and the living areas were great and spacious enough for us all to comfortably hang out for eating, playing board games and just chatting. Easy walk to the local IGA and the main strip of cafes/restaurants. Bit of a limited choice for dining places, but also pretty easy to drive to one of the other nearby towns if need be. Small amount of maintenance would have made it perfect, e.g. screen door repair, rubbish left in inside bin, cutlery dirty, clean windows and remove spider webs. Had a great catchup with family.
