Lost Creek Lodge is between Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain. Hop on the Parkway, take in the breathtaking views from one of the overlooks, or stroll around Bass Lake. Hikers of varying skill levels can tackle one of the trails off the Parkway. Downtown Blowing Rock is a quaint, walkable mountain town with eclectic local dining and shops and a public park with tennis and basketball courts. Tweetsie Railroad and Mystery Hill are about thirty minutes away and offer attractions for the whole family. Appalachian Ski Mountain, near Tweetsie, features multiple ski runs and ice skating. Grandfather Mountain and the famous Mile-High Bridge are twenty minutes down the road.
Lost Creek Lodge is a newly renovated and thoughtfully decorated home that creates a warm and inviting vacation retreat for guests. This sizeable two-level home sits on a private, wooded 12-acre lot and accommodates up to twenty-two guests in seven bedrooms and two living areas. The creek is right out the backdoor and will delight guests of all ages. The great room has vaulted ceilings with shiplap siding throughout the spacious main floor. It is the perfect place to relax after exploring the grounds, with comfortable seating around the wood-burning fireplace and the HDTV. The den, located off the dining area, has a large sectional, foosball table, and views of the woods and creek. The dining area offers seating for ten guests and access to the covered porch. Outside on the covered porch is a gas grill, gas griddle, and hot tub to relax in while enjoying fresh mountain air. The covered porch also has an outdoor lounge area with a gas heater for cool spring and fall nights and a bar top with seating for four. Below the house, a large fire pit area with extra seating is an ideal place to roast marshmallows. The kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, is open to the main living areas and is stocked for all your entertaining needs.
Lost Creek Lodge is a unique home perfect for large groups. Located just off the entryway are two bedrooms that share a full bathroom. One has two twin beds, and the second has a queen bed. There is a door separating the bedrooms from the entry for added privacy. The second floor features five bedrooms and two additional bathrooms. The bunk room is perfect the kids in your party, with sleeping spots for eight guests in four sets of bunkbeds. There are also two more bedrooms at the top of the stairs, one with a queen bed and one with a king bed. Down the hall, a king bedroom shares a jack-n-jill bathroom with the seventh sleeping area, which has sleeping spots for four in two full beds.
Additional amenities include a laundry room and powder room on the main level, AC, and Roku TVs for guests to log into their streaming accounts. Dogs are allowed at Lost Creek Lodge with an additional pet fee. Please be advised that exterior security cameras are in place. Winter travelers should prepare for snow and ice with AWD/4WD vehicles.
