"My family stayed at Jacomb's Cottage (me, my husband, two teenage daughters and my parents-in-law from overseas). It is such a cute, comfortable and historical cottage! We had a lovely time. The cottage is a short walking distance to almost everything in town. We loved all the history in Walhalla, the walks in the hillside nearby, the gold mine and we even did a ghost tour! "Property was in excellent condition and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The farm animals ducks, chickens, guinea fowls and alpacas were equally welcoming. Wildlife in the locality was abundant. A lyrebird flew low across the road and parrots and birdlife were abundant. Either plan to self cater or be prepared to travel into Moe for an evening meal though the store in Willow Grove was very welcoming for coffee and breakfast and lunches."

"After the initial problem getting in to the property we found it a very neat tidy cottage with a nicely appointed kitchen. All areas have been renovated, comfy bed in front bedroom. Things that would improve this property : .Definitely front door needs attention .Flyscreen Security doors front & back to enable air flow. .TV remote in bedroom didnt work(not a major thing) .Unable to hook up DVD to TV(this more likely my lack of technical ability & also not big deal) .Can opener would be handy "
