Quite clean inside and the owner could be contacted easily. Quiet area and surrounding area, good location, looks just like the photos, the exterior of the property is a little neglected but otherwise very good

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Not for those with allergies to molds and mildew. Most of our family wasn’t bothered but I had problems and there was a definite musty smell typical of vacation homes that aren’t well climate controlled. Nicely finished interior and upgraded bathrooms. Electrical system needs work. Front porch lights did not work even after a visit by their contractor after we reported the problem. Living room has a series of connected outlet strips used for equipment at one end despite the nearby wall outlets (did not take the time to check whether those outlets worked).

Odd checkout
The owner was very simple and not very restrictive which was greatly appreciated. However there was a mistake in the listing about our check-out time where he messaged me to leave an hour early. I followed up by asking what he meant because in the listing it stated “12:00pm”. Although he never responded after the fact and there was an enterprise car waiting outside. So by the looks of it he gave someone an early booking time or he just thought we would leave whenever he wanted to clean the place. In terms of cleanliness, all the bedding was clean and the bathrooms seemed good but the floors had a lot of dirt and were clearly not swept or mopped. Also, the outdoor grill was dirty.
