"Only 5-star reviews of this property; the check- in was fine and quick, although it was off-site (just nav/map it). The building next door is vacant and sketchy but it is not - the area is being redeveloped. Dining options are somewhat scant under a 10- 15 minute walk, but there are many just beyond that. Parking is free in front of the building and available when we were there, but not sure if there are spaces in the summer, as there is a beach access and club there. "

"Liked the proximity to town and the proximity to the famous beach walks - Dona Ana, Ponte da Piedad, Praia do Camilo. Hotel had excellent breakfast but not much seemed available beyond that - maybe off season and very few people here. Sure it would be a very busy place in the summer. "The location is lovely - very quiet and peaceful in early April. The accommodation was in very good condition and comfortable. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. We arrived well before check in time and although the house wasn't ready yet, we were told we could use the facilities (pool, etc.) The accommodation we had (sea view) happened to be right at the bottom of the complex nearest the village, which was perfect for us as we mainly wanted to go to the restaurants, etc. and...

"Staff friendly and rooms very clean. Have stayed in Praia da Rocha several times before but never at Flor da Rocha. Only disadvantages, staying in late March the balcony always seemed to be in the shade. At no point, even on the sunny warmer days was it ever a sun trap. Think this is due to the other buildings close by and the shape of the building itself. Other disadvantage, which isn't the apartments fault are some of the other guests. Sound proofing between apartments isn't great...

"Very efficient and informative check in. Marina Club Suites was a very clean and pleasing on the eye, bright and good feeling. Was pleasantly surprised with our room. "From our experience, NH holds every nickel a prisoner when it comes to the upgrading and maintenance of its rooms. Spacious but Spartan. The entrance door was jammed so that it took a full FBI style crosscheck to get it open every time. The sliding glass door didn't actually lock, fortunately as we forgot the keys inside once. While other accommodations offered free port and various other welcome gifts, we were met with fee-based everything in the room. Having to 'consider' a twenty Euro penalty...

"Stayed in a fantastic 2 bedroom all redone inside. The one bed next door was not and was a 3 star room. The 2 bed was a five. Huge balcony overlooking the sea. If I knew beforehand would have booked at least a week. The 2 bed you could stay for a month or two. Great area to walk/get around. Tapas around the corner was incredible. "

"This hotel was amazing in every way. The views outside the hotel were breathtaking. To the back was the most beautiful cliffs and to the left was the mountains and city. And there were numerous walking trails and boardwalks right outside the grounds. The sea view superior room was huge and beautiful and well equipped. The bed was so comfy with wonderful bedding and pillows - firm but giving. The bathroom was huge with a tub and large shower. Huge balcony with a beautiful view. Breakfast was very good with outside seating available and a coffee bar and champagne. Valet service was quick and the staff was soooo friendly. It’s a quick drive to old town Lagos. The spa was clean and had a sauna and steam room as well as a small outside jacuzzi and large heated pool at no extra charge. The normal pool was large and beautiful and there was even a baby pool. I cannot imagine a more perfect place to stay in Lagos. And even a great value for everything we got."

"I stayed for 5 nights, I got there when they had just opened, everything is new. The staff were lovely. The hotel is about 7-9 minutes walk to Paris Dona, you can walk to town in 20 minutes. There is an indoor pool with sauna and steam room as well as a large out door pool. There was a buffet breakfast which had a good selection, only issue is the hot food was cold. The rooms are rapacious with fluffy bath robes, safe and fridge. You can request to have you breakfast in your room as well. Overall I will be coming back due to how affordable the hotel is and how close it is to everything."
