Barnum is a quaint small town. The nearby town of Moose Lake is the same. The area is very pretty. It's only about a 40 minute drive to Duluth and the North Shore. Definitely worth staying at.

"Check-in online was quick and easy and made check-in on arrival super quick. Every staff member we encountered said "hi", every one, every time. Our room was clean and comfortable. There was a little noise from the hallway now and again, but not bad. The place is old. I can remember staying here ..."

"Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. It was confusing because the signs said breakfast was served until 10, but they were closing up breakfast at 9. No one seemed to know end of breakfast time. Otherwise, the pool was fun for the kids. Great stay for a couple of nights."

"Cute and cozy. Very clean and updated. Perfect view. Small beds that maybe could use a memory foam topper so you don’t roll to the middle. Great price for this 2 bedroom 2 bath villa. We would come here again."
