"We loved the location and the unique nature of the property. It felt like we were in the middle of a jungle and back to nature with only noise being birds chirping. The beach was one of the cleanest and best we have seen. Staff were very courteous and helpful and able to deal with any enquiry. Breakfast was excellent but generally bar and food prices were high. "It was clean, close to Radhanagar beach, close to the night market, there was a local bus that went straight to the jetty, and the room was spacious and everything was good."

"It is an average resort. The water quality is not so good. They do not serve bottled water. The pool has a very high level of chlorine. Also, they don't accept cards, and they will take money cash for a lot of stuff, not giving a bill saying that the computer is down. So please insist for a bill everytime. "High end hotel for Havelock, no wifi in the rooms, wake up call at 0810 (not pre booked) for breakfast. Pasta salad at Dinner wasnt pasta salad but pasta with vegetables in white sauce with cheese. Air con switched off at certain times, reception staff not welcoming. Kitchen staff/ front of house very good. Cleanliness excellent. "

"Very bad experience! All rooms smelly, water leaking into the rooms, no clean towels, bathroom wires were open. Worst experience i ever had in my life. I booked for 2 days but i checked out on first day only because of these hell of experience. So requested refund for my 2nd day."

"Very pretty spot , well looked after by staff. Room very clean, and restaurant served good food. The beach is 5 mins walk away. Nice verandah to sit out on with cane furniture. Only thing we think could improve is the bed was very hard, and more pillows would be nice. "

Havelock stay, started low but ended high

"We had booked in another property at Havelock Island and were extremely dissapointed. We managed to get a chalet at Sea Shell Havelock last room available. As soon as we arrived at the property extremely welcoming staff especially front office manager Ms. Khushboo. She ensured our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Property is well maintained and clean. Would like to specially thank Ms. Khushboo for accomodating a late check out request. We tasted wonderful food at both restaurants Bonova and White Lotus. The staff are extremely kind and pleasant. Also would like to thank Mr. Anuj for a pleasant stay. Thank you to the entire staff at Sea Shell Havelock. You are all doing a great job."

A little gem of a place to stay

"Our stay was amazing the resort a little gem. The rooms where spacious with plenty of light. 8 windows infact ,very clean with a large comfortable bed. Breakfast was great lots of choice and cooked to perfection. A short walk through the palm trees was the private beach. Whilst the beach was beautifully with white sand and clear water I was a little disappointed about the amount of plastic struined across the beach.Whislt I do understand it's been bought in by the tide and is a sad testament to us humans 10 mins a day picking up the litter if only on their private beach slot would have made all the difference. After all the hotel took such pride in keeping the rest of the hotels gardens and grounds free from litter it was shame to overlook this. All in all a great stay and I would recommend this place 100% if we get the chance to come back to the Island this would definitely be the place we would stay again .ps.the beautiful little parting gift of cookies was such a lovely touch thank you xx"
