Experience downtown Bar Harbor living at its best in this renovated 2nd floor studio unit. This charming space was renovated in March 2022 and is perfect for adventurous souls seeking a comfortable retreat with the basics needed to explore Mount Desert Island.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire unit as well as the deck. The backyard and grass areas are strictly off limits as we do not own that land.

There is a small 3ft x 4ft mudroom that is shared between the upstairs and downstairs units.

Great spot in Bar Harbor
This spot is the perfect location! Walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor. The place was super clean and comfortable for two people. Parking was right outside the door. Would definitely stay here again!

Happy in Bar Harbor
We had a great stay. The property is just right I size and is in a nice quiet neighborhood. We walked to restaurants, the local Hannaford grocery store and sites. The tip to stop in Ellsworth for provisions on the way to Mt Desert Island was a good tip provided by the property manager. The apartment could have used measuring cups, mixing bowls and it would have been nice to know there is no oven. Having coffee provided was nice. We would stay here again!

Wonderful
We looked at a million places before booking Inspiration Point. Initially we wanted to book something somewhere in more of a woodsy area a little hesitant to book in a residential area. We were very happy with our choice. The location could not have been more perfect. We walked everywhere in town and did not need to deal with the hassle of parking. Acadia National Park sites are a few minutes away. We could easily go somewhere in the morning and come back and walk somewhere else in the afternoon without constantly having to plan how we were going to get places. The apartment was spotless and had everything that we needed. The area was very quiet, I sometimes wondered if the neighbors were even home. The check in and check out process was very easy as well as communication with the host. We would highly recommend staying here. We had a great time!

Great Place to Stay
This was a great place to stay. Clean and functional, perfect for two to stay. Walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor was great, as we walked to restaurants and shops. Close to much of Acadia as well. The full kitchen allowed us to prep meals for hiking. Overall a nice, quiet place.

A wonderful stay
Loved the location, the cleanliness, the decor, and the amenities here. Everything was just enough for a perfect stay. My wife wants to downsize now to something very similar :) Will definitely be back.

Great 4th in Bar Harbot
This the perfect location and perfect size for a couple. Easy walk into downtown bar harbor and all that it offers. Short bike ride to Arcadia National park. All in All, a great trip.

This being a first time in Bar Harbor for both my mother and I staying at this Vrbo was a great choice. Within walking distance to the harbor and very clean and so well decorated. Access was also very easy. We had just about every thing we needed.. better than a hotel :)

This is our second stay at this property in less than a year and it was truly like coming home. This is a very sweet apartment that is clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, private and with all needed amenities for 2 people. The location is perfect for walking around town and close to so many trails and carriage paths of Acadia. The property owner was prompt with replies to any questions/concerns we had. We definitely give this property a strong 2 thumbs up!

Perfection
It's been over a week since we checked out, and we are still talking to anyone who will listen about how much we enjoyed our stay at Inspiration Point in Bar Harbor! Patrick has truly thought of everything in this adorable flat, from the cozy blankets and bedding down to the zip lock bags in the kitchen which came in so handy when packing for hiking! Bar Harbor was a bit crowded when we were there, and we were a bit exhausted most nights so having a grill and a fully functioning kitchen really came in handy. The apartment is in a peaceful quiet neighborhood but only a couple of blocks from the main drag. Also - people don't snooze on Pat's Pizza! We did carry out from there two nights and leftover slices wrapped in foil (generously supplied by Patrick) make an outstanding trail lunch. We can't wait to come back.

The property is just what you would in a VRBO. Perfect for 2 people and walking to Bar Harbor, short drive to Acadia National Park. It was clean and all the amenities you need. I would recommend this unit.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!
This apartment is beautifully & thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed & more. It is just a 5 minute walk to the beginning of town. Patrick was also very responsive before and during the trip. We hope to go back soon!

Bar Harbor Rental
My husband and I were looking for a place to hike and bike during the day and explore the community and enjoy the restaurants in the evenings. We truly enjoyed our stay in Patrick's place. It was updated, clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect (near coffee shops and dining AND near a beautiful meadow-lined running trail). Patrick gave us great tips on how to enjoy Arcadia National Park (I would recommend the E-bike rentals). We will be back!

Great place to stay. Just far enough out of town center that you don’t get the business but a quick 10 min walk to the village green. Everything we needed was there and the place was clean and neat. Would definitely stay here again.
