"Beautiful pool and gardens, gorgeous rooms with stunning white wash floors and concrete glaze flooring. Lovely room decor. Netflix. Extra bed in room for our family of 5 (2 adults & 3 children under 10). Also, amazing location to walk into town too! 5 minutes from the main plaza. it is next to a fabulous breakfast place (2 mins walk) - Ixchel Bacalar Downside - Coffee machine in room but no pods and poor WiFi connectivity. "The room was not in sleeping and resting conditions. I checked in on June 3rd and checked right out. I explained to the receptionist that there was a lizard in the room and the bed sheets were soiled, there seemed to be mice poop in the pillows. I showed it to the receptionist and she said, it was roof dust but the whole room looked disgusting and dirty. "Incredible stay at Villa Marcella. The rooms are nice and comfortable and it’s great finishings. The food was delicious, highly recommend the ceviche caribeno. Pizza was tasty while relaxing in the pool. This is the place to relax and lounge around. No cell phone reception. WiFi is spotty. Bugs are around so load up on your repellant. "

"The cabin was well-equipped, even luxurious, with a great view. Esmeralda, our cook and staff person, couldn't have been more helpful and kind. The grounds are peaceful with great bird watching. We kayaked every day and did yoga on the screened in porch. I was so happy we decided to pass by here! It was restorative and relaxing, with great affordable meals. Thank you!"

Oyo Hotel Marías did process the deposit for a king suite per the contract. The balance was to be paid upon arrival.
