Hello,
We are finishing up our stay and will be leaving early tomorrow morning. Before we leave, I wanted to address several issues directly with you rather than leaving a negative review. I hope this provides you with an opportunity to address these concerns and improve in the future.
Firstly, the photos posted of the property are quite misleading and should be updated. We were unable to use the deck because the furniture was in disarray, with mold and rips on multiple cushions. The railing was severely damaged, and there was standing water and garbage covering the walkways.
Secondly, it seems there was no prior housekeeping done, as one of the couches had bird feathers and feces on the cushions, and was generally filthy upon our arrival, despite there being no bird in the unit.
Thirdly, during our stay, we encountered more than a dozen water bugs in the kitchen/dining area. Additionally, we couldn't use the dishwasher due to standing water and a foul odor emanating from it.
Lastly, and most importantly, the Murphy bed is infested with bed bugs. There are blood stains and excrement on the sheets, mattress, and pillows, indicating bedbugs, as well as a lack of preparation by housekeeping. Unfortunately, we only discovered this on Sunday morning after our Saturday night guest woke up with multiple bites on their arm, hand, and stomach. As a result, two of our guests had to incur additional costs for hotel rooms (limit reached)
