I do not normally give reviews but we had such an excellent experience that I felt inclined to write one! We traveled from Connecticut with a teething 16 month old. Our first day of travel was literally hell, we arrived to a warm welcome and the front desk gave me a cup of milk for her bottle- free of charge! Which after a full day of airport charges with astronomical fees- you can only imagine what it felt like to not have to pay for a cup of milk. We entered our hotel room, clean and warm. The bed was comfortable, the pillows comfortable. Just and overall great experience. Next morning we went down and had breakfast, each day the staff at the front desk would say hello and good morning. Loved it. The breaskfast was honestly the best continental breakfast I have ever encountered. The food options changed every day- loved that. And most importantly EVERYTHING was clean. The staff in the kitchen could be seen cleaning. Some one was out in the main area wiping down the counter, non stop maintenance. Folks there did not appear to be miserable. Just happy to be offering good customer service. We LOVED IT. We absolutely will be back and the Hyatt made traveling with a 16 month old ALOT better. It was the highlight of our trip. We also enjoyed checking out online which also was convenient with a tantruming toddler. 10/10 experience. I was NOT paid for this review, like I said I rarely give reviews but I felt inclined to do so in case there is another mom out there like me!

This hotel, while boosting wheelchair accessibility, does not have automatic doors on rooms with accessible bathrooms. In addition, each accessible room is located at the very end of each corridor on each floor which means one must wheel themselves along thick carpet until exhaustion sets in and then fight a heavy spring-loaded door to get into the room. I would never recommend it. Letter to ADA.

Our recent stay at Hyatt House was overall pleasant. The property is well-maintained, breakfast was good, and most of the staff were very kind and professional. However, I wanted to share a few observations that could improve the guest experience: 1. Microwave and Housekeeping: We noticed the absence of a microwave in the room. Additionally, housekeeping was provided once every two days, though Expedia mentions daily housekeeping. This discrepancy was unexpected. 2. Breakfast Management: While the food was hot, well-served, and of good quality, the quantities were insufficient compared to the guest traffic, leading to some delays in refills. 3. Staff Behavior: While most of the staff were polite, one or two interactions left us disappointed. My daughter wasn’t feeling well, so we requested a microwave. We were told one would be provided after housekeeping. However, our room wasn’t cleaned that day, and when my wife followed up, the staff member at the front desk seemed to comment dismissively about the conversation to a colleague, which felt unprofessional. We later received a call stating no extra microwaves were available and were asked to use the dining area to heat our food. It’s surprising for a hotel of this size to lack additional microwaves. Despite these concerns, I would still recommend Hyatt House for its overall quality and the efforts of its staff. However, small negative experiences like these can overshadow the excellent work done by others on the team.
