Bachelorette Weekend
5 bridesmaids and the bride stayed in this property for a long weekend of celebrating our best friend. The location was perfect to all the activities we had planned downtown, plenty of living/lounging areas and bedrooms and bathrooms to give us space to spread out and decompress. It was truly perfect.

Nice house, plenty of space & well stocked, could’ve used a better cleaning. There were dust balls everywhere and one of the showers didn’t look like it was cleaned. The water pressure was bad in all the bathrooms except the master. Location was fine, but we had to uber to everything we wanted to do. House had multiple areas with couches, could’ve used some sort of entertainment like pool table or ping pong. The view from balcony did not look like the photos. Overall we enjoyed our stay

GREAT LOCATION AND SUPER PROPERTY
This house is super cool. Historic home redone. Lots of beds for a large group. We went to two concerts at Moody Coliseum and walked home afterwards. Would be great for a Gameday situation.

We loved everything about the Dozier: beautifully appointed and equipped house, very convenient location to downtown, the lake, south congress, grocery stores, restaurants. And the view! Wow. Stunning view of downtown and the capitol building. Highly recommended. .

Wonderful location!
This house was the perfect place for 6 friends from 3 different states to stay while visiting Austin. It’s very spacious, has wonderful amenities and is within walking distance to many attractions downtown. The listing said it only had 4 bedrooms, but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and found that there were 5. This meant that only two of us had to share a bedroom. The lovely outdoor deck was also a plus. Definitely 5 star accommodations!

Fabulous location and property
A group of 4 colleagues stayed at the house during SXSW. The location was perfect and the house is well furnished and equipped. would recommend it wholeheartedly. AND the responsiveness of the property manager is phenomenal.

Mixed bag.
Historic renovated house and furnishings were great. Central location for downtown Austin is perfect. Hot water consistency issues in the kitchen and bedroom hopefully have been corrected. Outdoor furniture cushion was ripped. Great view of the Capital. Location next to busy 15th Street makes evenings in the master bedroom noisy but tolerable with Airpods and white noise.

Worst stay EVER
We stayed at the Dozier property end of Jan 2024. The property was a nice location and house. However we had NO water pressure x4 days. There was a effort by a plumber to rectify the situation however this made matters worse and then we had no hot water or pressure. I had to get a gym membership for the week to have a shower. There was poor communication from Renters Club and the owner did not rectify our situation. Would stay FAR away from this company and property. DO NOT STAY HERE

Historic Home in Active Austin Locale
Things we loved: location (close to live music, good restaurants, the Capitol, UT, etc.), ample off-street parking, generously sized and comfortable common spaces and bedrooms, historic home is as pictured, fully stocked kitchen, nice outdoor spaces with Capitol views, prompt and thorough communication with property manager(s). One nitpick: the primary master suite has ample windows (yay! light!), but since they’re all single pane, it was quite loud in that bedroom. The house sits close to West 15th Street which, while convenient, is a busy road with considerable traffic ... and its associated noise. If you are a light sleeper, consider bunking in one of the other rooms.
