"This is a great hotel in a beautiful location. The apartment was big and well equipped. The receptionist and the manager were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a problem with train reservations. They helped and did not give up until it was sorted."

"The room was quite small for 2 adults and 2 children and there was a lot of noise from the interconnecting family room next door. The main problem was that the floors were filthy. The facilities in the room were OK. It was quite a long hike to get to the slopes and to restaurants. Overall OK but if we went back to Pra-loup we'd aim to stay further up the hill"

"For us, the most appealing aspect of this chalet was its location and size. The chalet is five minutes off the main road up a narrow road. The large deck of the chalet faced beautiful mountains and the isolation ensured total quiet. The kitchen was modern and had all the appliances we needed; space was sufficient for two people to prepare food. Groceries were 15 to 20 minutes away by car. We found the beds average. "We have a great time staying here. The location although 25 mins from Isola 2000 was good so we could access Auron ski slopes too in a quicker time of 17 minutes. The house could be cleaner to be honest but adequate for us. Just a note.. the living room is above the neighbours house and on one night we made a bit of noise and the neighbours came up to have a word with us. We stopped immediately .. otherwise pleasant stay. Good communication with the owner."

In addition to it, I paid a premium to get a room with a terrace and when I arrived the same person told me that there were no more rooms with terrace. I also called the police since there were 40 families with no water and no effective answer from the hotel,"

"A little disappointed as I had booked a hotel with a restaurant ( helpful when travelling alone with kids) and it was closed for the end of season. The room was also rather basic and smelled of damp. On the positive side, the staff were helpful and the breakfast good. I visit Auron a lot but will stay elsewhere next time. "
