Unsanitary conditions, causing health risk HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
Check-In delay due to “cleaning lady” in the property upon arrival. Owner claims he was unaware of her being there and late. Property was poorly cleaned. Excessive dirt present near beds. LARGE ROACHES present. One found crawling in the bed, another on kitchen counter top near our food. Broken fixtures throughout the house. Baseboards detached from walls causing more risk especially with small children present. There are NO directions on how to gain entry to property upon arrival. I had to call the owner 3 times to get an update on how to open front entry door. Mold found in shower. PLEASE DO NOT LODGE HERE.

Unecessary issues
Our stay was from 2/23/24 to 2/27/24. Overall, the stay as a whole was fairly satisfactory. Safety: The neighborhood seemed safe enough and there was no excessive noise. Appearance: Upon driving up to the home, it looks inviting and clean. The pictures look just like the home on the inside. Cleanliness: The home was clean enough. There was no garbage left. The bathrooms, kitchen, etc was clean. The only thing was the bathroom vents were dusty. Normally, I wouldn’t notice something like that but it was caked-on dust as if they had never been cleaned. Maintenance: There was a leak in the main bedroom shower stall underneath the glass door so we had to keep a towel on the floor the entire stay. There was also no switch for the ceiling fan in that room. In the bedroom across from the main bedroom, the light kept cutting off by itself. In the guest bathroom, the tub kept stopping up while taking a shower. Host: It took us a while to get in the home because there were no check-in instructions. For an issue like that, I expected to get a more prompt response. I really expected not to have that kind of issue in the first place.

Not up to par
We stayed for two nights and the property was just ok. The house was not ready for renters. There were some improvements done but the missing pieces outweighed them. The master bath shower stall leaked. There was no where to set soap of shampoo. The walls looked like they had been touched up but really needed a new coat of paint. There were missing pieces of flooring, the interior doors had broken hardware, there was discarded electrical fixtures and furniture in the back yard and garage. The cookware in the kitchen was rusty and there were only four plastic tumbler, 2 of which looked more like small pitchers. There were some mismatched wine glasses. The owners told us of the missing remotes for the TVs and did have new ones delivered.

Great location, quiet neighborhood (close to airport, GICC and downtown ATL). A bargain.
Overall, our stay in this modern home was satisfactory. It is currently a 3.5/5. There are some improvements that would make this a 5-star rental: entry directions provided to renter ahead of time, instructions on how to use the thermostat (we were cold and extra blankets or covers were not in any closetsb thankfully there was one space heater to share among 3 guests), directions re: trash disposal and parking would have been helpful rather than trying to figure it out on our own. Also, there was no bath soap/wash readily available in the bathrooms. I found a trial size bottle in one of the cabinets on my last morning. The cups and some utensils needed to be rewashed before using due to noticeable soap scum. There was a pile of garbage outside the back door for some reason. One TV did not have a remote and the other one had dead batteries. I travel at least 50x a year for business and pleasure. This rental is satisfactory. But there are some shortcomings that can be easily addressed for future rentals.

Experience Could Have Been Better
Appearance: Nice presentation- the pictures are accurate. However, the number of beds is deceiving. The bed said to be in the common area, is a couch. Covers for the coach were unavailable - two adults had to bunk together due to this. Various amenities were not available for use. Dead batteries in the remote, lamp in one of the rooms had broken switch, most closets had broken shelves - there were no hangers…etc. Cleanliness: We opened the door to the backyard and to our surprise was a bunch of open trash on the porch and down the walkway- plates, aluminum pans, tissue…etc. Communication: At the point of check in, we did not receive the information for entering into the house (keys, code), however, there was a quick response when we asked. After realizing some of the amenities were unavailable, we reached out and received no response on those concerns, however, we did received a phone number to send the pictures of the trash but no further response after this. Overall, I am disappointed in the customer service and lack of communication, but it was still a decent stay - I just wouldn’t recommend it.

Excellent Neighborhood
My family and me always go to Atlanta Georgia for Spring Break. This year we stay at the place and it was so wonderful when we walked in. The house is located in the middle of everything that we had planned. The host was a excellent host. We could reach him when we had question and he respond to us ASAP. We have already started planning are trip for next year and plan on stay there again. If you want to be in a nice quiet neighborhood you should stay here.
