The hotel is pretty standard and seems to be in an area with a few hotels, but it is a bit sketchy at night. Although close to the centre, I walked through some very dark areas that seemed questionable, to return to the hotel at night.
I book a superior room that was highlighted as being soundproofed with air conditioning. During my stay, I had to request to change rooms as I could not get the air conditioning to work even though there was a thermostat. The girl at the front desk replied that there is central air on my floor and that maybe it was hot because of the afternoon sun. I had to explain that I couldn't sleep at night because it was too hot to sleep. I was (begrudgingly) changed to a room where I could control the temperature in the room.
Both rooms were very clean and I found the cleaning staff to be the friendliest of all the staff I interacted with.
The breakfast was good, although very repetitive over 4 days. The staff in the restaurant seemed to struggle to keep up with the turnover as they ran out of coffee cups twice while I was there.
