A Last Resort
I stayed at this property for a couple of weeks, and it was very sub-par.
The floors were filthy and my feet were covered in grime. The door was finicky, it never opened all the way, and it was so hard to open at one point that I thought the lock had stopped working and started to panic.
The first several days I was there, there was no hot water, which was very confusing. Eventually, I messaged the host, and they told me to switch it on with the breaker.
There were dusty panels of drywall next the the refrigerator and a hole in the ceiling.
There was only one, unsheeted, really thin, pilling blanket in the entire apartment.
The shower floor held onto water for DAYS. I eventually had to keep putting towels down to clean up the bathroom floor every time I showered.
The facet kept coming loose.
I got quite sick during my stay and needed to stay in the apartment for a week longer than intended, I contacted the owners and asked if I could extend it. They were not at all helpful, and I ended up paying for another fee and cleaning fee to book through the app again. I wasn't sure if I needed to check out and check back in and the whole thing was very frustrating.
The redeeming factors: they did have a working washer. There was a good-quality kitchenette, two balconies, and a working TV and wifi.
So, long story short - unless they make efforts to help fix the issues with this apartment, I would not recommend it. It is safe and will work as a last resort if needed.
