"Good hotel in walking distance (15 min) to city center. The website is a bit unclear but there is no reception so you call when you are at the hotel and they remotely let you in. Which works fine. Klein (bei schlechtem Wetter bestimmt zu klein für 5 Personen), idyllisch gelegen, aufwachen mit Vogelgezwitscher, ruhe aber auch im inneren sehr spartanisch eingerichtet (das ein oder andere Geschirrteil haben wir dann doch vermisst)"

"It was the perfect place for our family of five to explore the Groningen area and our family's ancestry. The house was spacious, clean, quiet, and located right on a canal. We rented the boat and took it out on the lake one day. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed grilling and eating outside on one of the many decks surrounded by flowering bushes and plants. We wish we had more time to spend at the house and in the Kropswolde/Groningen area but hope to come back someday!"
