"Aesthetically absolutely beautifully designed interior, however not so functional. We stayed over the new year so it was cold/dry weather so we wish they had humidifiers. The beds are extremely comfortable unlike the beds at the major hotels so we were able to get rest well to recover from 13 hours flight. Unfortunately unlike other guests, we didn't get response from the owner quickly. We got a response 3 days after we checked out which was not a big deal anyway. "

"This hotel has a public bath with natural hot spring. And it also has a sauna room, too. They are comfortable, but some people feel too hot to take a bath. "Awesome stay. The only small downside was the distance to station is a little far but about 5 minutes walk to the beach. Free corn soup and hot chocolate drink, perfect for winter. Although the timing they took out is quite random. Overall, very satisfied and amazing stay."

"The hotel is near Hakodate train and bus station(You can take bus to HKD). There's morning market in next block of this hotel for seafood. Hakodate does not have underground so taking bus or tram may be easier to get to the attractions. Just be aware of the time. The breakfast is good and good to have in winter time (you don't want to go out in cold winter morning). "

"Really great value! We reserved for our family (5) and the 5th bed (pullout couch) was already made with sheets and everything. We had 4 full size beds. This hotel is only 2-3 min from the station. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. We chose the option with breakfast (buffet style), and we loved the breakfast, too. My favorite was mini-melon-pan (bread) and there were many choices for food for breakfast, both Japanese and western style cuisine. I definitely recommend this hotel!"
