"Unbelievable! Secluded, yet reasonable distance to attractions.This is a property with fabulous amenities, rich in tradition and history. Nothing was missed in planning this resort. "

"The rooms were really old and had a run down feeling. The rugs were visibly dirty, the towels were cleaned, but had stains, and there was no clear statement (that I saw) that there is no elevator. The fireplace suites are not worth the extra cost-- the couches are old and discolored, and the fireplace was a stove- no instructions on how to use, etc. I was disappointed."
