"The rooms are quite small but have a fan and an A/C and the bed is comfortable. The bathrooms are clean. I wouldn’t say it’s a social hostel but to relax and have a it of time for yourself it’s great. The owners are great: friendly and helpful. Great location, close to restaurants, cafes and the big mall. I really enjoyed my stay here and would come again!"

"Stayed for 7 nights, everything was good except the bathroom was a bit dirty and the showers weren’t the best. Checked out without any problems, however discovered 3x 500 peso notes missing from my purse. I didn’t have any roommates when the money went missing therefore I can only assume it was staff. Can’t complain properly as I don’t have any solid proof, however I had went to the cash point 12 hours before it disappeared so I know exactly what notes were in my purse. Very dissapointing as I...

"The hosts were very nice and accommadating for our late night arrival and phone for us when our shuttle didn't show up on departure. The place is quiet and abit out of town but close to the bus station and has a delicious restaurant next door that emplys handycap employees who use sign language. Aircon...hot shower and breakfast....great! "

"Very wallet friendly, but of course very basic as well. Insects wise, not as much as you think as the mosquito net helps alot. Perfect for people who want a closer to nature experience, with choir of animals and insects going on when the sun rises."

"We've been here before so we already knew that the rooms are worn, that there's no WiFi in the room (and in the public areas where there is - it's poor), that the grounds need more attention, and that the public restrooms near the sports desk are disgusting. The boats are also awful, with uncomfortable plastic benches. We returned anyway because the view is spectacular, the pools are fantastic, and the food at the restaurant is OK and reasonably-priced. Having no other such island resort option...

"We arrived rather late and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. When I surveyed the gym area it was obvious that the birds had been perching on the equipment. I informed the staff and they cleaned the equipment off so I could get a good workout. "
