"Wonderful despite the rainy weekend. The tiny house was cosy with a toasty fire, or diesel heater when we wanted instant heat. The shower was hot, the bed comfy. Our hosts made sure we could get across the paddock to the tiny house when it was looking too damp for our car to make the journey in the wet. At night the stars were clearly visible from our own private river valley, complete with our own outside fire place beside the river. We took advantage of a tasty breakfast from the main house...

"This tiny home was very clean, many items such as milk, water, juice, breakfast cereals and some snacks were supplied. Very comfortable inside. Host Hollie was so friendly and nice, she had answered questions we had. They have many rescued animals and they are very friendly and they will come to you. Because air is very clean, you can see many stars at night enjoying fire pit. We had a great time. "

"A captivating location immersed in nature, with an elevated front verandah to soak it all in "

"A stunning location and we had a great time for the first couple of days but rain for the last two and little or no gravel on the visitor driveway meant that we struggled to get out of a muddy driveway in our 2 wheel drive car. There is no one on the property and no mobile coverage so it is all the more important to have this rectified. We had to park in the other driveway which made our trips to and from the car long, messy and muddy. This is not good enough given how much this place charges....

"The place surrounding with the greeny and lovely animals is incredibly beautiful and quiet. The room with a big window facing to the prairie is neat and everything was prepared. Owners are lovely and friendly. Just amazing! "

"Loved our stay at Tiny Home on a Hill. Very quiet and peacefull. Our little girl loved meeting the sheep, lamb and chickens and feeding them in the morning. Max is the kindest and most generous host and was happy to share her knowledge of off grid living. Also shared some of her herbs from her giant vegie patches, some fresh eggs from the chooks and a taste of her organic wine made from the vines on the property. Great place for a couple or with one young child. Would highly recommend. "

"Great setting, nice and quiet, rooms small but clean and tidy, beds hard and uncomfortable, common area large, but felt unkept, not much variety on breakfast menu, some cereal out of date, would be nice to have a tv or games table in common area, not much to do"

"This tiny home was very clean, many items such as milk, water, juice, breakfast cereals and some snacks were supplied. Very comfortable inside. "The host Sarah was more than accommodating. We stayed in a lovely cabin with views of the surrounds, kangaroos grazing as the sun started to leave us. Everything in the way of breakfast was provided for us to help ourselves. Main kitchen well stocked and there was also a huge spa. It was lovely and relaxing and exceptionally quiet just as we liked after a long drive. Thank you very much Sarah, the cabin was cozy and comfortable and just what we were looking for. Recommend a stay out here for sure, especially take a few friends and enjoy some time around the fire pit of an evening and relax"

"In summary - quiet, rural, friendly. Beautifully decorated, comfy and warm room part of, but separate from, the main house. Lots of well behaved dogs, chooks, guinea fowl, cats to share the stay with. Bonus was the cooked breakfast! Axedale is on the rail bike trail and Bendigo has so much to offer!"
