Lovely place at Vondelpark in Amsterdam! (max 4 people!)

Lovely space situated right next to the Vondelpark and near Museumplein (Museum Square). The neighborhood is filled with restaurants, bars, cafés and shops. A fantastic place for families or couple. Do you have a visit to a museum, tour or other attraction in mind? Let us know and we can make these purchases for your arrival.

This historical building was built around 1881 during the development of the Schinkel neighborhood.

The space is situated on the third floor and has been designed for our guests with love and care, the way we would want to be treated if we were the guests. The typical steep Amsterdam stairs are less suitable for guests with limited mobility.

The place is a charming creative space, it's open with two living and sleeping areas. The space can be separated by en-suite sliding doors for privacy. There is a double box spring on one side and two separate box springs on the other side.

The bathroom has a bathtub and the toilet is in a separate room. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, fridge, electric kettle and a Nespresso coffee maker.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
+ It is not allowed in Amsterdam to stay with more then four people.
We cannot make exceptions at arrival.
+ We do not accommodate stag parties and such.

We live on the second floor. If the house rules are not followed, you will have to leave our apartment. The reservation amount will not be refunded.

Stairway to heaven!
Beautiful space, lots of steep stairs you get used to in the area and fantastic Hosts! This flat was a perfect spot to explore Amsterdam and sleep well at night to recharge from the day. We will be back to explore more of this beautiful country and city.

It is really a good and clean place, location is very convenient close to tram stop, Vondel Park and grocery store. JeanPaul is is a very good host, he helped us to bring the luggage upstairs. The stairs are a little daunting to say the least and definitely not for the faint of heart. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Lovely Stay Near Vondelpark
Property is conveniently located to everything via bike rentals and transportation. Wonderful location with great restaurants and coffee shops close by. We appreciate Jean-Paul’s responsiveness. At first glance the staircase is incredibly steep due to architecture, but we assimilated to steps after about a day. We would stay here again.

Absolute perfection by Vondelpark
Living here gives you a feeling of being a local in Amsterdam, starting every day walking through the beautiful Vondelpark. It was one of our favorite places we've ever stayed! Great location steps away from Vondelpark. Nice area with mostly local less touristy stores & restaurants. Check in & out could not have been easier. Host was friendly & helpful. We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Perfect for our family with two teens. Had all the amenities we needed for a 4 day stay. Very comfortable and charming spot. A great location in Amsterdam. Convenient to transportation, museums, and all downtown has to offer. Also a short ride to the airport. The apartment has a lot of character and plenty of space. What a lovely spot!
What a lovely spot to spend our 3 days in Amsterdam! Easy walk everywhere - great restaurants in the neighbourhood and grocery store etc close by. The stairs up to the apartment are a bit daunting especially with luggage but Jean Paul was true wonderful and brought all our suitcases up for us - and when we told him our departure plans - took them all down as well. the beds are very comfortable, the space pretty and comfortable appointed - we would definitely stay again!

Fantastic Apartment
This apartment is great!! Very comfortable bed. Jean Paul was very helpful in carrying our luggage up the steep stairs and answering all our questions. The apartment is spacious, bright and airy. Convenient 5 minute walk to the 2 tram. Our 6 night stay was wonderful.

Amazing stay in the centre!
My husband and I were visiting from NYC and my nephew and sister-in-law visited from Poland. We had a great time in the amazing flat right in the middle of everything. If you prefer to walk or take the tram you can. Vondel Park is right across the street amongst nothing but shops and eateries. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. The flat was cozy and clean. We slept so good and are sad to have said goodbye but we will definitely be returning. Jean-Paul was very communicative and helped us bring our heavy luggage up the stairs. I recommend everyone stay here when they visit Amsterdam you will not regret it!

Excellent Accommodation, host, service and location!
Stayed for two nights in May and was highly impressed. Very clean, well laid out, spacious accommodation. The owner Jean Paul could not have been more helpful. He was there to greet us and to say farewell when we departed. He was happy to provide tourist information also. The location was also excellent, right opposite the entrance to the beautiful Vondel park, close to shops, pubs, cafes and public transport. Traditional Ductch apartment in Amsterdam
Nice and clean place, just as advertised. The place is a 20 minutes walk across a park to the city center We were a family of 4 and it was perfect for our 2 nights stay.. Cozy apartment right across from Vondel park. The steps climbing up to the apartment were incredibly narrow and steep. This is apparently traditional of old Dutch homes. The owner Jean is incredibly sweet guy who helped us with our huge luggages.He had was happy to help with anything we wanted about the place. Overall a wonderful vacation home in beautiful Amsterdam.

Perfect getaway in Amsterdam
Beautiful, spotlessly clean apartment right at the gates to the Vondelpark with plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby. Its great to get away from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam centre to this lovely part of the city. Very easy to reach with the No: 1 & 2 tram. Communication with JP and Lidia was flawless. Great apartment, great location
This property is in a very desirable location—across the street from the park, lots of restaurants nearby, & the #2 tram into the heart of the canal district just a few minutes walk away. We had a lovely week & would stay here again. The hosts communicate quickly & regularly. Also, I think one review mentioned that the windows don’t open & fans were necessary, but this isn’t true: one large window opens & several small skylights as well. There’s also a good sized grocery store 2 blocks away. Just pack carry-on size suitcases, as going up the very steep stairs w/bigger luggage would be no fun.

Perfect stay
Lovely apartment full of light and air at the top of a typical dutch townhouse. JP greeted us and bounded up the incredibly steep steps with our 2 weighty bags. The apartment is directly across from the largest green park, which gives you an car-free route by bike (10 min) or walk (20? min) directly to the museums and the entry to the center city. The park itself is a treat: watch the locals bike to work in throngs through the park or lounge on the grass in the sun. There are many fine restaurants in the immediate neighborhood when you don't want to venture out (we went to Blauw Indonesian and several lively pubs with patios). I shared the apartment with a friend and there is plenty of room. We got our car service to the airport from our bike rental down the street, which was quite convenient.

Fantastic Family Stay
This was a fantastic place for our family of four (2 teens, 2 adults) to stay in Amsterdam. It is located directly across the street from Vondel Park and it is about a 25 minute walk through the park to Museumplein. There are also 2 tram stops within 5 minute’s walk that we used. The neighborhood has many restaurants (try Restaurant Blauw) and a small, well stocked grocery store. The apartment itself provided a nice amount of room for the four of us the spread out. There are two distinct sleeping areas with divider walls. The WC is separate from the bathroom so that made sharing bathroom facilities among four people easier. Jean-Claude was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The stairs are very steep which is typical for Amsterdam, so you have to be physically able to climb them. We had no trouble with the stairs, just part of the adventure. Kitchen is minimally appointed, there is refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, which was fine for us because we didn’t cook. We appreciated that there is a washing machine in the apartment. Overall, highly recommend.

Everything we could ask for and more....
They say it's all in the details and from start to finish our stay with Jean-Paul and Lidia was that. Jean-Paul is a wonderful communicator and made us feel confident and comfortable about all we needed to know about our stay. He wrote back and forth to us answering all our questions and giving us information we asked for. He and Lidia were sure to be at the flat to greet us and aptly bring our luggage upstairs. The flat is conveniently located a few blocks from the #2 line of the light rail. The neighborhood is safe and quiet and filled with wonderful restaurants and inviting shops. The flat is perched on the top floor overlooking the park and we adored looking down on the passers-by as we pulled our shade up each morning. Jean-Paul was thoughtful enough to stock us with some groceries to start our stay. Lidia helped us with our personal needs as well. We spent some time with their two children as part of the home experience. Nice kids. The cozy flat had everything we needed and it was a welcome place to rest our weary heads after each day's journey. We often brought food in from the local grocery store and just relaxed at the flat for dinner. Jean Paul was well informed about tourist information and assisted us in making arrangements in Amsterdam. He was always reachable if we needed anything at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, truly have fond memories and will hopefully return one day to Vondelpark. What nice people.!
