Super séjour

Maison très bien équipée, cadre très charmant, idéal pour visiter châteaux de la Loire et zoo de beauval. Literie est très confortable et le calme permet une bonne récupération après des bonnes journées de visites. Merci pour l accueil. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Le calme absolu

Gîte parfaitement équipé, dans un hameau en retrait de la route principale. Calme et silence absolu, tout en étant à proximité immédiate d’Amboise (faisable à pied ou en voiture) avec toutes les commodités. Excellente base pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire, tous à moins d’une heure de route.. v’Vente directe de vin et de bière chez le propriétaire à 200m !

joli gîte de charme

Une maison charmante et agréablement meublée, avec tous les équipements. Les propriétaires habitent à proximité et sont facilement accessibles en cas de problème. Il est préférable de visiter https://www.closeriedechanteloup.com/ pour trouver le gîte. C'est là que Vincent vend ses vins et ses bières artisanales, car le gîte n'est pas facile à trouver seul la première fois.

Très bonnes prestations

La maison est très agréable, même si la météo capricieuse de cet été ne nous a pas permis de profiter souvent des espaces extérieurs et de la piscine. Le calme est absolu. La maison est très bien équipée. La localisation est parfaite pour rayonner sur les principaux sites des chateaux, villes et autres sites (Beauval). Nous avons pu passer quelque temps à la piscine très appréciables sur la seule journée de vrai beau temps de notre séjour. Une belle découverte.

House of Chanteloupe Review

We enjoyed our stay at your lovely cottage! We would have been a little more reassured about the location if Google Earth hadn't shown a very cluttered area just in front filled with children's toys, a camper and other items, though! Found it a bit difficult navigating from the parking across the lowly light ground in front (uneven lawn). Otherwise, everything was just perfect. Hosts very responsive. Thank you!

This property is very isolated and not walkable to anywhere. There is a strong smell of mildew and we could not stay there because one of us has asthma. However, the host declined to give us any refund and VRBO spoke to him but allowed him to charge us for the 6 day stay even though we didn’t check in. We expected to lose something but not the entire fee. We submitted doctors proof of asthma but it didn’t make a difference. The parking area is very uneven with tall grass and the staircase to the upstairs is very steep. Definitely not suitable for children or elders. The mildew smell was really pungent. I do not recommend this property.

Location de qualité

La maison est chaleureuse, on s'y sent tout de suite très bien. Spacieuse, bien équipée, literie de qualité, très propre et belle décoration. Accueil sympathique avec un beau feu de bois dans un grand poêle Godin. La localisation est parfaite pour de belles balades et des merveilles architecturales et culturelles.

Lovely homely spacious clean property

We stayed here for a couple of nights. It was a lovely spacious home that was fully appointed, so it felt very homey and I could imagine you could stay there for much longer with a family because it had an oven/ stove/ dishwasher/ washing machine/ washing line/ heaters/ fireplace. The host has set up the fireplace ready to be lit when we got there, which was lovely because it was colder in the Loire than we’d expected. There were also then additional electric heaters in the bedroom. The beds were very comfy and there was a separate toilet and shower room. The bedrooms were also very spacious as was the downstairs which had a nice sectional sofa, a TV with lots of different channels and 2 separate dining tables to choose from (one in the kitchen and one next to the lounge room). The only negatives about the property were that there were no fly screens on the windows/ skylights and a faint musty smell downstairs.

Good well equipped property but

More information about arrival is needed. The vineyard where we were to pick the key up from closed at 6.30, we didn’t arrive until 7pm. We phoned the numbers we had a daffiest no one answered them . Eventually someone did answer the phone and directed us to property, we were almost at a hotel by then.

Zentrale Lage im Herzen der Schlösser der Loire

Von hier hat man einen äußerst ruhigen, aber dennoch zentralen Ausgangspunkt zu den Schlössern der Loire. Bis zur City Amboise zu Fuß 20 Minuten. Gut gepflegte und moderne Gite in historischem Zustand und Umfeld mit zurückhaltender Betreuung.

Schöne Unterkunft mit super Lage

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in dem Haus sehr genossen. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und man kann sich sehr wohl fühlen.Das Untergschoß ist durch seine dicken Mauern angenehm kühl im Sommer. Highlight ist allerdings der Pool im Garten des Vermieters.Ein sehr gepflegter großer Pool, der abends von uns gerne genutzt wurde. Die Lage des Hauses ist für Ausflüge in die nahe gelegenen Schlösser der Loire super. Wir können das Haus besten Gewissens empfehlen.
