I liked the place. A stay at Route 66 Inn on route 66 was exactly what I was looking for. It was way better than expected. for an older hotel, the rooms were clean, didnt smell, checkin was easy, there wasnt any hidden unexpected charges. I think the owner takes care of the property and does everything on his own as I saw him cleaning rooms when I was checking out. I would stay here again for sure

It was a quiet and clean room. The beds were comfortable! The check in process was so quick and easy. Even gave me a map of the attractions in Amarillo to check out. Gave complimentary pin. Unfortunately we had a car accident in Dallas and couldn’t make it to Amarillo. I messaged the property letting then know of our accident. It was after our cancellation window. I believe they may give some refund on the stay. I hope to get back to Amarillo in a few months and definitely will stay at Route 66.
