Perfect spot for off-season visit.
Our group of 4 wanted a quiet place to stay for a couple of nights. The location was perfect, situated right beside the lake. As it was off season, we were able to take the north shore and south shore roads with essentially no other visitors on the road rainy and beautiful at the same time. The house has a great kitchen and the 4 separate bedrooms allowed for privacy for our large party. The living areas were spacious, giving us a place for conversation and meals. The heating system worked well. I will definitely be back. Hopefully in the late winter/early spring before the summer crowds arrive.

Mushroom hunters from the city
Nine friends stayed here and found many lbs of chanterelles. We played games, kayaked, and made a chanterelle stew and Austrian napkin dumpling (serviettenknödel). Place was roomy, cozy, and clean. Thank you!

Gorgeous lake view
We enjoyed our stay so much! Only booked for a couple of nights while we were visiting Quinault rainforest, but could have stayed a week or longer. View was amazing, location was so quiet and peaceful. Right as we were leaving a family of otters showed up right below the house and did some fishing while we watched. Magical! Thanks so much for sharing your house with us!

Perfect place on Lake Quinault!
Wonderful house and very comfortable. We took advantage of the weather and the nice kayaks on the beach and paddled several times. This was a perfect location. We recommend the Salmon House for dinner across the lake.

Perfect rental! Highly recommend!
We have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals over the past 15 years. This may be our favorite of all time! Beautiful, clean, comfortable, well stocked, and a breathtaking location. Our entire family wished we could stay another couple of nights. If we are anywhere near this area again, this is the rental we will book.

Great waterfront property
Several short hike trails close by. Beautiful scenery. Bedrooms were small but beds were comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed. Kayaks were great to have on site. The dock that is in pictures is not there. Bring groceries because there are not a lot of options. Overall a great experience

Beautiful Lake House
We had a nice week stay at this lovely lake house. We bought food for the week and cooked several nice meals in the fantastic kitchen. The owner was friendly and even fixed a broken burner mid-week. The view is unbeatable. There are several nice hikes in the area. Easy access to HOH rainforest and the Pacific coast. Quinault rainforest is very nice. Bring a rain poncho for the occasional shower. Highly recommend this house.

Great location. Sub par amenities. New AC unit leaked all over the dining room
Great location! Beautiful home. but you don’t feel any TLC. Lack of attention to minor details in the way of kitchen gadgets and equipment that were lacking (Limited pots/pans, no tin foil, limited variety of glasses for spirits, liquor.) The problem here is that there isn’t great access to groceries and other needs so it makes it challenging when the house comes up short on the little things you may need. Also there looks to be a new room AC unit in the kitchen/dining area, which is great, but there ended up being a huge leak of liquid from the machine from what looks like a lack of attention to the draining function. I informed the manager or owner and didn’t hear anything back at all. Also, blinds in the living room and master bedroom don’t shut right and are out of order to some extent. These reasons lead me to give it a 3/4 star rating.

Beautiful rainforest retreat!
What an immaculate, well stocked, comfortable and cozy lake-side home. Everything was as advertised, clean and great directions/instructions. Beautiful scenery and hiking close by; we made 2 trips to the ocean, one for a successful clam digging adventure. Thankful for this beautiful get-away opportunity.
