"This is very cute and tranquil holiday spot. We had a great time enjoying the pool, taking trails. The room was spacious, clean and nice with a gorgeous view. I can see how some facilities could be updated, but it didn’t affected our stay, we loved the place."

"Fabulous experience! Room was great - large, clean and had a bathtub. Made use of spa facilities. Sauna, steam room, whirlpool and indoor pool were terrific. Also had dinner in the restaurant where we had the best soup of our lives. Breakfast was extensive and well with the reasonable price. "

"Paulo, the owner, was very attentive and friendly and gave us wonderful service. We were late for check-in and Paulo greeted us after 11pm with a big smile. He gave us all the information we needed, including tips on Portuguese cuisine. The property consists of an old Portuguese house, from the 1800s. It is charming, clean, and has everything we needed for a good night's sleep."

"We stayed for one night in transit between destinations. The waitress at dinner was welcoming and provided great service, but all other staff we encountered were indifferent to our presence. The hotel seemed to cater only to a large tour group there that night, and our room was dated and uncomfortable. We won’t be returning."
