"A cheap option within walking distance of Verona train station. It’s an old but functional hotel and our room was clean. The area outside isn’t very nice for walking (a few homeless people hanging around) but the hotel has a car park so driving is an option. Also if you are coming from a big city you’ll be used to this - it’s just not the image I had in my head of Verona (opera & posh restaurants serving truffles and good wine was more my expectation)"

"I loved staying at this hotel. Two staff members stood out - Patrick (front desk) and Lucia (dining staff). They were polite, professional, and very good at their jobs! The only disappointing thing was the dinner. It appeared to be very disorganized, a couple of dining the staff were confused on our order and brought out an appetizer with the other persons main meal then wouldn’t bring out my meal because my dining partner had waited for my main meal to be served. My last comment is, it’s an international group and much of the dining staff did not speak English at all, which was very difficult for me and other guest, who did not speak Italian, but spoke English, French, Danish, Dutch, and so forth."

"This is a stop for a several days trip. The location is great. It is next to a shopping center where people can stock up on Italian goodies. Also, it is a quick drive to the city center and near a major motorway. "

"The accommodation is very nice, about 15-20 minutes drive from Verona's Arena. We had our own car, so this was not a problem. Just consider this, when taking the decision of staying at this Best Western. "

"The hotel is very old and outdated. The bed is the smallest I have ever slept in the entire life. There was a roof leak in the bathroom. No kettle in the room to make tea and the weather was so cold. I went to ask for water to make tea, I was charge €4 for hot water only. The dinner was so o expensive and tasteless. I paid €261 for a night. What a waste. "

"Lovely hotel, well within walking distance to Vicenza centre. The room was lovely and clean, it overlooked the train station and the car park but the room was really quiet. Breakfast was good. The lady with blonde hair that was working in reception at check in was excellent! Absolutely first class service and she could not have done any more to help. Fantastic service with a smile. I will definitely stay here again. "

"Large bedrooms. Old interiors in bedrooms. Dinner service 7.45 until 9.00pm. Same table allocated for breakfast and dinner throughout stay. Very bright, large dining room. Good food though set menu. Good breakfast. Reception areas large and attractive. An extremely traditional hotel that needs a more modern approach. "
