"The property was quaint and as expected from other reviews and the listing details. It felt rather damp but there were electric fan heaters in each room which quickly warmed the place up. The Wi-Fi kept going off and we were unable to make the tv work but that wasn’t an issue as we were only there for two nights."

"House was great for family holiday with lots of space and spectacular views. Good location for visiting Skye and surrounding areas. Kids loved the table tennis. Well equipped in some aspects but kitchen could have done with a bit of a deep clean."

"We spent a wonderful week in Moriston Cottage despite the rain. Everything was very clean and the cottage is very well equipped, we had everything we needed. There is everything in the kitchen if you want to cook and lots of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The beds are very comfortable. "Everything about this property was lovely! The hosts were so gracious, allowing an early check in due to an unexpected snow storm. The home was beautiful, and its proximity to Skye made the whole stay a dream! We will definoty be back! "

"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. "A wonderful location "

"A great place to stay, just far enough away from Sky to be away from the busy tourist stuff but close enough to spend the day on the island. If you like hiking there are amazing trails right next to the cabin along a river that has some waterfalls. There are a couple of villages that are close by with great food options, if you don't feel like cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The hostess are very easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions I had. Would defiantly recommend...

"Regal yet family friendly! Something for everyone. My 5 year old granddaughter learned to fly fish. We all hiked. The baby learned to crawl up 3 flights of thickly carpeted stairs (supervised of course). So many wonderful sites to see and explore. Food and locals were amazing. Terrific family vacation!"
