My son and I chose this property for our first 2 nites in Lisbon and could not be happier. The hotel is located in the heart of old town Lisbon, right by the Museum of the Republican National Guard and the Museum of Archeology of Carmo. The check in process was quick and smooth. The hotel receptionist/ concierge Leonardo was very pleasant and accommodating. He showed us a map of the area and pointed out the must see attractions. He also recommended top restaurants in the are, per our request. The breakfast was delicious and featured plenty of choices! Never realized how delicious Portuguese bread and pastries are! Yum! The room was very spacious, clean and elegantly decorated. It had all necessary amenities, safe included. The hotel was able to accommodate my reservation requests. If you love bookstores, the oldest operating bookstore on the planet, Livraria Bertrand, is a mere 5 minute walk away. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby and close to all city center attractions. Will definitely stay at this property in the future!

Great hotel, clean towels each day. Restaurant was reasonably priced. Great location and very quiet outside. Overlooking the river with lots of local bars cafes and shops.

This was a wonderful and unique hotel. We felt so important from the moment we arrived. The staff and facitilites were excellent. It is located adjacent to the castle so convenient to the old part of town. They gave excellent food recommendations and arranged reservations. Breakfast was divine! Varied, healthy and delicious. The one tiny drawback was the noise of the beautiful peacocks and hens nearby. They were wonderful to see but I think we were there during mating season. Luckily, the hotel offered earplugs if needed. But it would be something to consider if you are a light sleeper.Otherwise, I cannot fault this wonderful hotel. We can't wait to return.
