"Unfortunately, we never received the check-in information regarding the cabin. We’re staying in ahead of time, but we figured it out on our own when I try to contact the owner. "Apartment as described, was accessed easily with free parking outside overnight 4pm- 10am & free parking during the day one block away. Owner responded quickly to any queries. Good restaurants nearby. Don’t forget to try Brynja for an ice cream fix 😋. Also the cafe in the Botanical Gardens for lunch."

"Three days in a lovely cottage, that had plenty of space for five of us, hot tub (strange that itis without the jets, but the crowd enjoyed it nonetheless), very clean, with absolutely stunning views(!). I wish there would be a kettle and a regular coffee maker. Would make our life much easier)) But we managed. Thank you for letting us stay here!"

"We stayed at 3 Berjaya hotels and of them, this was our least favorite. Most notably, there was a strange smell in the room (I think because of the shower?) that reminded me of wet dog. "Great view from room, clean and friendly team. Nice to get free parking and lovely relaxing ambiance in the bar - we did book due to the picture of the outside area and fire and sofas to relax, sadly it was all closed up and couldn’t use - that and the hill from town was the only thing that let a great stay down"

"The second time we stayed here within a week, as we came back to Akureyri and really loved this place. However, we were placed in a larger room with a bunk and two single beds. As we are a couple, we wanted a double bed, in a standard twin room. However, when we called the property, they insisted that this room was an 'upgrade.' We had to sleep on separate beds, and we didn't need such a big room. We also didn't have a sink in this room, which we had on our previous stay."
