"Overall it was good experience, we’ve been to this hotel 2nd time, but I must say, 6 years ago it was wonderful, now just good. The grounds and beach are the best (the water is the most beautiful), food was just fine, we liked the most the service and food at Grill. For the things we don’t like was our room (it had had some stains on the floor on both sides of the bed, something was spilled, and when communicated it - they just advised that that’s the kind of floor and they are not able to...

"The resort is not huge so it’s easy to get around. The beach is beautiful. The preferred club seemed to have a lot more benefits for those than without. Dreams has a good allergy policy in place which was reassuring when travelling with severe allergies. Food was good! Travel from airport to resort was not provided and we did not know until we landed in Punta Cana, and that was uncomfortable. We had Karina, an Expedia rep, and she was very helpful and always available through WhatsApp texting. "

"The resort is quiet, nice music in the pool area, i liked that there is a spot for smoking, and people are not smoking in the pool right on your kid's noses. Dining, they have few options, but nothing special with the specialty restaurants, did not try the adult's side because I was with family. Waternpark is nice, four options of slides. And lazy river, there is a food truck serving snacks, the cooker could learn how to fry, onion rings were a greasy mess. Food on buffet is nice, slightly...

"Catalonia Bayahibe offers an incredible beachfront experience, with its stunning white-sand beach and crystal-clear waters being a standout highlight. The location is perfect for those who love spending time by the ocean, and the beach is well-maintained and easily accessible from the resort. The staff at the resort are consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive, enhancing the overall experience with their hospitality. Whether it’s at check-in, dining, or just walking around the property, you can expect excellent service. However, there are some drawbacks to consider. One of the main issues is the lack of air conditioning in the resort’s restaurants, which can make dining uncomfortable, especially during hot weather. Additionally, some of the rooms could use an update, as they feel a bit outdated compared to the overall resort's charm. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience remains pleasant, especially if you're looking for a laid-back, beach-centered vacation."
