"We had four nights here and were treated exceptionally well from start to finish. The hotel is a bit older with some minor hiccups and smaller rooms, but the location and hospitality of the staff far exceeded our expectations. The highlight of my experience in Girona? Walking the Passeig de la Muralla at sunset, hands down. My first afternoon in Catalunya's second biggest city, I stumbled upon these walls with an acquaintance from my hostel, just southeast of the Plaça Catalunya. The views are simply stunning. I just had to return on my final night to try and catch the sunset, despite the catch-and-go torrential downpours that afternoon. I highly recommend this Catalan town; in less than a few hours, it became one of my new favorite cities in Spain.
