"Excellent location close to train station and public transportation (tram and buses). Close to lots of restaurants and main shopping venues. Room was reasonable size but bathroom could be updated. The temperature in the room and floors is too high and even with AC, could not reach an « acceptable » temperature. There is a gym with limited equipment (and again very hot). Excellent breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. "

"I have stayed at Hotel Le Plaza for varying periods over the last 3 years. I have also referred the hotel to 5 of my colleagues who now stay here. After 30 hours of travelling, I know I will be greeted at the front door, helped with my bags, followed by an efficient check-in at Reception, and a room will be ready. It's also nice to be greeted at breakfast and in the hotel foyer by various long-term staff. My only disappointment is that the beautiful bar area is not always open when I am there. ...

The location is ideal for access to Midi station, and just a 15-20 minute walk from the city centre. I booked late checkout but, frustatingly, this didn't stop the maid from walking straight into my room despite the 'do not disturb' sign hanging on the door as well.
