"The hotel had a lovely atmosphere with well chosen antique furniture. Staff were both helpful, polite and efficient. Happy to help with a last minute change of booking and also room change to allow us a quieter room on our last night. Breakfast was very good with a great range of cereals and fruit. The homemade fruit yoghurt was a nice surprise Locally sourced food was evident in the cooked breakfast. This is a great hotel handily located close to restaurants and shops."

"A beautiful period property in an isolated area but not inconvenient place to drive into . It gives you an exclusive feelings with two lounges with relaxing music . Our twin room was pretty and had a comfortable neutral colour scheme . We ordered a room service and the snacks we had were excellent . The room is a bit small and sound proof is not great. But it was a fantastic place to stay regardless ."
