"Amazing hotel!!! The staff really made it great especially the lady that was cleaning my room. I rated it 3 stars for the area around the property because I feel like the location would be better as it was a bit far from everything, the Mixc mall kind of made up for it but personally I would have liked it better if it was closer to central, or on the other side near the Shanghai Towers. I liked how there was privacy and it was not a busy hotel "

"This hotel is super duper dated! The bathroom had traces of mould and smells like smoke. Super duper old. The sheets were clean. A cab from there to the city is about 200 which is about $35 usd. The staff very friendly but again couldn’t get past how dirty the hallways were and how dated it is. Breakfast buffet was good."

"The property is one of the new “Self check in” environments. The lobby is nice. The cafe area is actually pretty nice. The rooms are sparse. There is no kettle to boil water which is a BIG PROBLEM in China. You don’t even JOKE about drinking Unboiled water there. The bed is a king sized bed, but it’s wedged in the room, and up against the window. If you had two people one would have to crawl across the bed to their side, and then they would be sleeping against the window. No bath tub....

"Hotel is not obvious. Taxi cannot drop off at door. Only down the street. At night it is scary. You have to walk down dark dingy alley about 75 meters to get to hotel. It cost me extra for internet data to find phone number of hotel. So taxi driver had to wait and make phone calls. Hotel phone number not listed on Expedia web page, we could not phone and ask directions. Used other web site for hotel phone number. Very stressful situation."
