"The view was lovely . Our accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed . Staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a comfortable , reasonably priced stay . It is an easy walk to shops and restaurants but an uphill climb on the way back ! "

"Lovely apartments, everything you need for a short stay. As other comments state, the property is located on a steep hill. Short walk into town, but takes a little longer going back. Northerlies restaurant picks you up and drops you back off, nice place to eat and drink. "

Also, would NOT recommend going to Airlie Beach during what they call the wet season...Jan-Mar. It rained every day...our flights were cancelled; the entire airport was closed cuz the roads in were flooded...apparently a regular event there. "
