"This is in a fancy part of town, across from the Hancock bldg. There are tons of great restaurants. The shops are… also fancy, translated - mostly for window shopping. It would be awesome if they had 2 people serving coffee in the morning because the line is long."

"A little more luxurious than expected. Breakfast bar was much more varied and elegant than the usual. I appreciated all the signage and information in the room and elsewhere. Just overall felt a cut above the average for this type of hotel. My only complaint is that the WiFi was intermittent—I often had trouble accessing it. And as others have said, parking is a hassle. I ended up parking in a public valet garage about a block away. "

"My husband and I stayed for just one night. The room was super tiny! Much smaller than we expected. Even though it was tiny, it was very clean and super high tech. Your iPad controls everything in the room, the lights, curtains, temp, and tv. The lights can be changed to almost any color. I loved how the king bed was nestled up to the window. So we could see Michigan Avenue while sitting in bed. I would definitely come back here! Only complaint is self parking is a pain and some of the employees...

"First of all...this is still an excellent choice when staying in Chicago. Perfect location, stylish and trendy, comfortable beds, clean and modern, and excellent toiletries and bathroom amentities. Unfortunately, this time around it wasn't as good as during past stays. I checked in at 7:30pm and was speedily (in a good way) provided keys, but when I got to the room, it wasn't the room category I had booked (Booking was King bed, but room assigned was two twins). "The lingering problem about the hotel is not being able to control the temperature in the room. We tried to cool down the room, but was not successful. This problem would definitely make me hesitate to stay at this hotel again considering we visit Chicago a few times a year. We mentioned this to the staff at the front desk and was told that due to the changing of the seasons, the AC/heat can not adjust to our needs at this time. "
