"We did the Elite package and it was well worth the extra money. Private pool, cabana and pool bar plus an Elite only restaurant and bar as well as a separate section for breakfast that allows you to order off a menu as well as use the buffet. Fighting for a palapa in the early morning was the only downside and unusually strong wind gusts at the beach wasn't pleasant!"

"This was our second time at this property. I feel it has the best mix of having a great beach (one side is calm, the other side has fun waves), clean and high quality rooms, a good mix of food, and a bit away from downtown, so it’s quiet versus being more in the “urban” area. Also the two pools are great (one family, one adults only). We’ll be back!"

"A big highlight was the buffet. After we tried unsatisfactorily to book any of the restaurants in the hotel, we decided that we would give a shot to the buffet. It was our best decision. We cannot speak for the quality of the restaurants (the one you need appointment in advance). The variety of the food; fresh ingredients; flavory; tasty; clean; well served; and most importantly, the friendliness of the employees, make the buffet an option that we highly recommend. No regrets at all. 10 points...

"Loved the peace and quiet. People were friendly. Would have liked better rates on car rentals. even half day rentals. Would have liked to explore island but wasnt worth the car rate. Wish We had more restaurant choices. Otherwise we had a great time"

"Staff and food were amazing! Easy access to transportation. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. The only negatives were the musty smell in our room and we didn't realize this was a quiet property. We would have preferred some form of entertainment on site. "

"Great location close to town. The biggest drawback is that there is an artificial beach, and that there are the large imposing cruise ships to the South on certain days in this location. Great food."
